Six Star Peel

The Six Star Peel is a high-performance superficial peeling system designed to visibly brighten and refine the appearance of the skin. This system combines salicylic acid with a dedicated peel-prep solution to support effective surface exfoliation. Formulated with licorice extract, peony extract, sophora root extract, scutellaria root extract, and phloretin, this peel helps enhance the appearance of radiance, clarity, texture, and uneven tone, while reducing the visible prominence of pores and dullness. The peel is available in two cosmetic formats: • Mini Version: delivers a refreshed, brighter-looking finish with no visible downtime. • Full Version: offers a deeper cosmetic resurfacing effect with slight, generally unnoticeable peeling as the skin’s surface sheds naturally. Most clients observe visible improvement over 1–4 sessions, supported by consistent at-home skincare.

Whats the Difference Between the Mini and the Full Version?

The Full Peel provides a higher level of visible correction with noticeable peeling as the surface renews.

The Mini Peel offers a lighter cosmetic resurfacing and can achieve strong visible results across 1–3 sessions when supported with one month of Miracle Serum.

Can I Wear Makeup Afterwards?

Makeup cannot be worn on the day of your procedure, as the solution must remain on the skin for 6 hours. Makeup may be worn the following day. We can provide you with a list of approved products suitable for post-procedure use.

Aftercare

Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks post-procedure. SPF must be reapplied twice daily.

For any outdoor activity, wear a brimmed hat, sunglasses, and remain in shade where possible.

Even indoors, SPF is required; if you can see your surroundings, UV light is present.

Do not remove peeling skin manually. Allow the surface to shed naturally.

Do not wax anywhere on the treated area, including the eyebrows, for 2–3 weeks, as waxing may disrupt the skin’s surface.

Avoid touching the skin except during your prescribed aftercare routine.

For the first 1–2 weeks, the skin may look flushed, feel sunburn-like, or show temporary surface breakouts as congestion becomes more visible. This is a short-term cosmetic response and settles as the skin moves through its visible renewal phase.

Avoid sweating, heat exposure, and swimming for 3–7 days after peeling has completed.

Makeup may be worn during peeling, as the superficial shedding layer acts as a temporary barrier.

For procedures involving downtime, aftercare must be purchased from the Double Bay Cosmeceuticals line to ensure compatibility with post-procedure skin and avoid contraindicated formulations.

A standard routine includes:

  • Cleanser 50ml – $49
  • Serum 20ml – $79
  • Moisturiser 20ml – $79
  • Your preferred SPF

Our stocked products are formulated without parabens, sulphates, PEGs, fragrance, benzoyl peroxide, exfoliating actives, heavy occlusives that may congest acne-prone skin, or ingredients that may elevate NMF levels in congestion-prone skin types.

Each product is selected to maintain a streamlined, procedure-appropriate environment that supports a visibly smoother, more balanced appearance.

Using alternative skincare may compromise results due to unknown formulation interactions and unsuitable ingredient profiles.

Important Notes

  • Change your pillowcase on the night of your procedure.
  • Keep hands and phones away from your face.
  • Follow all aftercare steps precisely to support the best visible outcome.

When Can I Expect Results?

After 2-4 Weeks Depending on the initial Condition of Your Skin.

How Often Can I Have This Done and How Many Sessions Are Recommended?

This type of procedure should be performed every 4-8 weeks.

We recommend 1-5 sessions until the skin is cleared and maintenance no downtime procedure to keep up the results.

Side Effects

After your procedure, you may notice that your skin becomes flushed as proteins react with the acids to promote natural desquamation. This process is normal and can last from a few hours to several days, coinciding with increased collagen production. It’s essential to protect your skin during this time:

  • Sun Protection:
Even indoors or on cloudy days, UV radiation can trigger hyperpigmentation. Apply SPF every 2-3 hours during peak sunlight (ideally twice a day) for 7-14 days post-procedure.
  • Avoid Manual Peeling:
Let the skin shed naturally. Manually peeling can damage deeper layers, leading to hyperpigmentation that may take 4-12 weeks to resolve.
  • Dryness and Flakiness:
Expect some dryness and flakiness about a week after the peel—this is a normal part of the skin’s renewal process.

Following these guidelines will help ensure a smoother recovery and more even, radiant skin.

Disclaimer

Chebo Clinic makes no claims to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease or medical condition. Our procedures are designed to resurface and condition the skin, supporting a healthier look and feel. We focus on improving the appearance of the skin rather than delivering medical outcomes, and we make no guarantees regarding individual results.

Skin is part of the body’s integumentary system, and naturally renews itself through cell turnover every 4–6 weeks. This means resurfacing is never permanent and requires ongoing maintenance. For best results, we recommend regular professional facials, package programs, and supporting your results at home with tailored skincare and facial kits.

Skin health is also a reflection of factors beyond our control, including diet, hormones, supplementation, lifestyle, and genetics. Results will therefore vary according to each individual’s unique circumstances. While our team’s expertise and methods remain consistent in delivering exceptional care, the final outcome depends significantly on the client’s biology, daily habits, and long-term commitment to a personalised skincare regimen.
